Roger, the founder of 5H Renewable Energy, grew up on a farm where he learned early on how to fix, build and work with all kinds of mechanical and electrical equipment. He also learned how to set up off-grid solar and battery systems to pump water in remote areas for cattle water troughs, giving him an early insight into practical renewable energy solutions.

After leaving school in 2001, he qualified as an electrician in 2004 and later started his own electrical contracting business, carrying out work on residential, rural and commercial properties.

 

In 2008, Roger developed a strong interest in renewable energy, particularly solar PV and battery systems, and began building his knowledge and experience in the industry.

 

In 2016, Roger founded 5H Renewable Energy. The name “5H” represents Roger, his wife and their three children — a business built around family values, hard work and doing things properly. Since then, the business has grown steadily, helping customers across Kent and Sussex with reliable renewable energy solutions.

 

Today, 5H Renewable Energy continues to grow through honest advice, quality workmanship and a genuine commitment to helping customers make the move towards cleaner, more efficient energy.
